As mentioned several times throughout this course, nutrition is incredibly personal! What works for one person and leads them to spectacular health, may not work for another. But the Paleo template, with its focus on real food, high quality meats, fresh fruits/veggies, and healthy fats, is a great place to start! From there, there are incredible resources for people to use to find their own way on their personal nutrition journey.
A great and popular place to start is Melissa Hartwig’s Whole30 diet . This has been called a “stricter” paleo diet to undergo for 30 days, simply to help establish a healthy baseline and then slowly reintroduce certain foods to gauge your body’s reaction. Another fascinating approach is Robb Wolf’s recent book Wired to Eat. Robb is often credited with bringing Paleo into the mainstream with his New York Times best-selling Paleo Solution. Wired To Eat is much more focused on the idea of personalized nutrition and provides some easy tests and measurements people can take to find what foods work best for them.
